Off to Concho, AZ

We went on our first trip of the summer!! We went up north to Concho. It was still really nice up there! We stayed at a hotel there because Adam has so many allergy and asthma problems. This time he never had a problem and it's a relief to me because I worry about him not breathing well. We got there late and Ty was super tired. So either he heard wrong or the person working at the hotel told us the wrong room. We went to room 108. Later the employee calls us to tell us we are in the wrong room, we were supposed to be in 123. OK, how did this happen. I am going to side with Ty on this. She told us the wrong room number. Ok, and how did we get into the wrong room? Whatever. Then there was a big black beetle in my pillow case! AAAUUGGGGHHH! YUCK! At least those were the only bad things to happen at the hotel. On Saturday we went out and Ty showed us around his hometown of St. John's. I really enjoyed it and thought it was great being in a small town again! We also went to the dollar stores to see if I could find any tennis shoes for Eden since I forgot hers! We found some crocs and put them on with socks. It'll work for 2 days right? When we got to Vern's house we went to a Farmer's Market. I love stuff like that. I got some cherry jam! So yummy! Ty and Adam then went on a ride in the Rino with Vern. And Karen was decortating a float for the Memorial Day Parade with the Red Hats. So I had to keep Eden busy and try to get her to take a nap for a few hours. Ty and Adam were so sunburnt after that. You forget when it's cool out that you can still burn. The next day we went to the store to get aloe vera gel for the sunburns. Then back out to Vern and Karen's to play at the park.






Then I went on a walk with Adam to get some ice cream and then I got a sunburn. It was a great trip and I hated to see it end. Adam still has two more weeks of school and then it will offically be summer for him!
